ENAI AND UOWD PARTNERSHIP

In 2023, under the patronage of Professor Mohamed Salem, President at University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) and Dr Tomas Foltynek, President of European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI), a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed to begin a joint collaboration and to recognise within UOWD’s Centre for Academic Integrity Research Cluster an ENAI Outreach Working Group focused on UAE. 

The activities undertaken pursuant to this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) reflect a spirit of cooperation and reciprocity intended to be of mutual benefit to both Parties and contribute to an enduring institutional linkage between the Parties.

ENAI WG Centre for Academic Integrity (ECAIU), previously known only as Centre for Academic Integrity in the UAE is a part of ENAI globally and operates within UOWD locally in the UAE. This website is owned and managed under ENAI Working Group. 

ENAI

The European Network for Academic Integrity is a group that brings together educational organizations and individuals who have a shared interest in maintaining and promoting academic integrity. As the largest academic integrity network in Europe, they are also a significant player in the global community. ENAI has connections with leading experts in the field and collaborate with European and international organizations that focus on academic and research integrity. The organization offers useful resources such as the Glossary on Academic Integrity and a database of educational materials. ENAI is also responsible for organizing the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia. In addition, they provide assistance to victims of academic integrity misconduct through our Victim Support Portal.

UOWD
