Their expertise shapes policies, drives research, and enhances the Centre’s impact on global education standards

Dr Zeenath Reza Khan

Dr. Zeenath Reza Khan is the Founding President of the ENAI WG Centre for Academic Integrity in the UAE and an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. An award-winning academic with over 80 publications, she serves on editorial boards for ethics and integrity in education. Dr. Khan has received accolades including the ENAI Research Excellence Award, Turnitin Global Innovation Award, and Vice Chancellor’s OCTAL Award. Recognized as a Global Educational Influencer and among the UAE’s Most Influential Educational Leaders, her research focuses on academic integrity, ethics in IT, STEM for girls, and teaching and learning excellence.

Professor Chris Hill

Dr. Christopher Hill is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at The British University in Dubai. Dr Hill has worked in the field of international higher education for the past decade and has extensive experience establishing and developing graduate schools in both Asia and the Middle East. Dr Hill is an OBHE Associate, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Specialist Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications and an Adjunct Researcher for the Higher Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan.

Professor Nadir Kheir

A distinguished academic, researcher, and leader in pharmacy practice, he contributed to developing two internationally recognized pharmacy programs at the University of Auckland and Qatar University. With expertise in clinical, social, and administrative pharmacy, he designed curricula aligned with accreditation standards and graduate profiles. Known for linking academia with stakeholders, he introduced Pharmaceutical Care into undergraduate programs and developed Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. He also spearheaded initiatives at the Student Success Centre, significantly improving student performance and engagement. An inspirational educator and expert in educational pedagogy, he has significant experience in CPD accreditation processes and advancing pharmacy education.

Dr Sreejith Balasubramaiam

Dr Sreejith is a Senior Lecturer and Chair of Research Committee at Middlesex University, Dubai. He gained his BTech in Engineering from the University of Calicut (India) and his Master’s in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, before obtaining his PhD in Supply Chain Management from Middlesex University (UK). Since moving to academia from industry, he has over 30 publications in leading academic and practitioner-focused journals. For several years, he is actively involved in promoting academic integrity in UAE and wider region.

Philip Anderson

Phil Anderson, a multi-instrumentalist and former professional musician, trained as a secondary music teacher at the University of East London in 2012. After teaching in Hackney for three years, he moved to Dubai as a departmental head. Following his master’s in education at the University of Sheffield, Phil joined Middlesex University Dubai in 2019, advancing to Assistant Campus Programme Coordinator and lead for the Masters Dissertation Programme. Currently pursuing a PhD on primary teacher musical confidence, his interests include creativity, arts education, and technology in classrooms. Phil joined the University of Birmingham Dubai in 2023 and is an active researcher and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Veena Mulani

Veena is the Head of Moral Education Department at Al Diyafah High School Dubai. An advocate for early exposure to explicit learning environments surrounding integrity values, Veena is tremendously proactive in initiating awareness campaigns, designing courses that revolve around both Ministry of Education curricula and incorporates integrity values and messages. With a diverse background in Computer Science and Business Administration, Veena has a successful corporate track record as the Quality Assurance and Fitout Manager at Better Homes LLC and as Head of Year at Al Diyafah High School prior to her current position. Veena is currently pursuing a second Masters, in Education this time and has begun to sink her toes into research, having published a couple of papers in recent years.

Nameeta Bhatia

Nameeta Bhatia holds a master's degree in English Literature along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). She has been an educator for the past eighteen years, with fourteen of those years dedicated to GEMS Education. Her decade-long journey at CIS has been a fulfilling experience. As a member of the English Faculty, she teaches in the Secondary School and also serves as the Head of Year 10. Nameeta believes that teaching extends beyond scores, tests, and results; it is equally, if not more, about instilling moral values in students, as they represent the future. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, music, painting, art, and traveling. A voracious reader, she is passionate about exploring any literature she can access. She lives by the adage, “It’s nice to be important, but more important to be nice.”

Founders
