Call for Teacher Innovators using AI in Classrooms

The ENAI WG Centre for Academic Integrity in the UAE’s AI Ethics Lab, in collaboration with Middlesex University Dubai, European Network for Academic Integrity and academic and industry partners, is excited to announce the AI in my Classroom - Teacher Incubator Program.
This initiative seeks to empower schoolteachers in the UAE in line with Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI) and the latest announcement by HH Sheikh Hamdan to upskill school teachers in AI. We plan to do this by supporting innovative projects that integrate AI into classroom teaching and learning through a unique incubator training program and a gift award.

Attend a two-day incubator program for school teachers, develop and submit a proposal to implement responsible AI in your classroom and get a chance to win cash prize to implement it!

Details
Eligibility
K-12 schoolteachers from primary to high school in the UAE, any Emirate (not limited to Dubai) may choose to participate. Each school may send a team of up to 3 (three) teachers each. Each proposal may have only one, two or up to three teachers involved. School takes responsibility for the award gift/prize to be spent as per proposal(s) by submitting an invoice and signs an agreement with ECAIU-UOWD in accordance.

Complimentary access to Tech Pathways MENA’s AI Upskilling Course for all registered schools: CurveUp, in collaboration with Google and the University of Helsinki, is offering this opportunity. Available in English and Arabic, the program offers flexible learning options, self-paced or live virtual sessions, and participants will receive an official certificate endorsed by Google.org and the University of Helsinki**

Incubator Training Program
Join us for a two-day incubator offering hands-on training in AI tools, ethical responsibility, and ideation. Participants will be trained and guided by expert mentors to develop proposals for implementing AI in their classrooms. After the incubator, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with your school to refine your proposal and submit it for consideration for a cash prize.
Intensive incubator program will take place in October 2025 in Dubai, UAE
Deadlines
Registration: 10 October 2025.
Proposal Submission: November 20 2025
Project Implementation Period: January - March 2026
Final Presentation: April-May 2026
